The Story of Creative Photography

Six years ago, I was given my very first DSLR camera for a birthday present. Photography was something I had always loved to do from a young age, either with my first 35mm campact camera, mobile phone or bridge camera. So when I first started getting to grips with photography properly, it's no wonder I untapped a deep reservoir of passion and creativity.

I quickly expanded my skills and knowledge, with landscape photography being at the heart of my photography.

After a couple of years of shaping my skills as a photographer, I had expanded my skillset to include portrait photography with off-camera flash, and learning how to shape the light. How to edit my images in Photoshop and lightroom, using layering, and composite techniques.

Before I knew it, I had been invited to do my first professional jobs for friends or colleagues, and very quickly realised this would be my career path going forward. I took the plunge, quit my day job, and become a freelance commercial and wedding photographer.

Now, several years later, after working with a host of large companies in retail, fashion, event, promotional and industrial photography and video production. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer clients who expect a high level of quality and professionalism.

Today my mission is to create beautiful imagery and video for my clients, push myself creatively, and position myself as one of Yorkshire's leading commercial photographers and media production company.
